My work grew out of being a philanthropist myself. I gave away a small fortune over a period of years. In every action I take to raise money for clients, I consider how I would feel as a major donor to the organization. I design programs that honor donors' perspectives and are inclusive of their values, ideas and aspirations. Naturally, these are the programs in which philanthropists invest most.

This approach has achieved dramatic results. I have helped numerous organizations to more than double their total donations in just one year. Similar significant increases have often continued year after year.
